# Connect Wallet

Start by going to [staking.illuvium.io](http://staking.illuvium.io/)

In the top right-hand corner, click “Connect wallet. “

Next, choose the type of wallet you wish to connect. We currently support the following wallet types:

### Browser-based wallets

These wallets can be used via browser extensions on your PC, Mac, or the mobile app's built-in browser.

### Web wallets

These are wallets that can be used with a log-in via a custody service or allow you to connect via a QR code such as WalletConnect and Coinbase Wallet.

### Hardware wallets

We currently only support basic Trezor connections as a hardware wallet. We aim to extend our support of hardware wallets soon and allow for selecting different Trezor accounts when connecting to the app in a feature release.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.illuvium.io/staking-v2/user-guides/new-users/connect-wallet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
